Our Dutch
We love Dutch because of their great dispositions, size, flash, and challenge of markings. They're versatile, too. We've trained some for showhopping. Our black and steel lines are a mix from our favorite breeders (Allan Gerhart, Kevin Hooper, Marty Earle and Claira Cukendall). Our blue line has a solid foundation from (Gerhart, Hooper, Gail Kaiser, Lonnie & Michelle Harper and Harold & Kaitlyn Smith). Our budding Lilac line came out of these blues!
We acquired a new breed in 2022! Emily was intrigued with the firey red Thriantas. They're just a bit bigger than Dutch with eye-catching red fur and bold heads and bone. Our first litter arrived in the fall. Take a look at our for sale page. We will be cross-breeding for a few generations which means extra kits for sale!
We network with talented breeders in many rabbit clubs in order to keep learning. Our rabbitry is ARBA-registered. We're members of ARBA, American Dutch Rabbit Club, New York State Rabbit & Cavy Breeders Association, New Jersey State Rabbit & Cavy Breeders Association, Pennsylvania Rabbit & Cavy Breeders Association, Mid-Atlantic and most recently, the American Thrianta Rabbit Breeders Association. At the local level, Emily regulary participates in 4-H and the Taughannock Area Rabbit & Cavy Breeders Association.
Whenever possible, we register our stock with ARBA to demonstrate that the rabbits meet the breed standard, and we apply for ARBA certificates of grand champion after 3 big wins todocument exceptional show histories. Browse through our current herd ... it's always fun to see the rabbits in someone's barn!

Meet our thriantas. Aby Acres' Rusty and Deb's Magma. They aren't a common breed. Emily has been eyeing these firey beauties for about a year. Their luxurious coppery red coats are so distinctive.
The breed has an ideal weight of 6 lbs. which is just a bit bigger than Dutch. So we have a great space in the Dutchie barn. We are training the buck, Rusty, to compete in hopping and the pair have their first litter.
TF'S BADBOY (Buddy) (8-12-18)....SOLD APRIL 2020 when we got out of the breed, but we like this picture.
Black tort, double-maned, and an uncanny resemblance to a Free folk. Equally feisty.
